The Nejashi Community Center of Atlanta (NCCA) hosts a captivating weekly event, the Saturday Night Khutbah, that brings our community together for a spiritually enriching experience. Every Saturday, we have the privilege of gathering to deepen our understanding of the deen of Allah SWT under the guidance of our teacher, Brother Zaib. These gatherings serve as a beacon of knowledge, fostering an atmosphere of learning and reflection.

Abu Malik Al-Harith bin Asim Al-Ashja’i (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “The Muslim is a brother to another Muslim. He does not wrong him, nor does he forsake him. And whoever is fulfilling the needs of his brother, Allah is fulfilling his needs. And whoever relieves a Muslim from a hardship, Allah will relieve him from the hardships of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection.”Source: Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
This Hadith emphasizes the importance of unity, mutual support, and compassion within the Muslim community. It highlights the concept of brotherhood and the interconnectedness of believers, encouraging them to uphold one another’s rights, help those in need, and treat each other with kindness and respect.
